Our Team

I’ve spent 7+ years in optometry working as a tech, scribe, and optician, so I’ve learned the field from every angle! I love helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their vision care - from assisting during exams to finding the perfect pair of glasses. I’m detail-oriented, friendly, and bring positive energy wherever I go. I enjoy connecting with people, being part of a great team, and making someone’s day just a little bit better (and clearer!).

It is, indeed, a privilege to be a staff member of Iris Eyecare and Eyewear. Not only will I have the joy of meeting wonderful patients, but I will also gain experience and knowledge, and hopefully help patients see that there is always a brighter outlook ahead!

I spent over four decades as a bedside nurse, and this new environment is an exciting challenge I've been looking forward to. As I navigate a new chapter as a widow of nearly a year, the warmth of five beautiful daughters and eight precious grandchildren, along with the wonderful Iris family, makes this next chapter one I embrace with a full heart.
